The NCPD Dive Club is a recreational club for members of the Nassau County Police Department. It was founded in 2026 by Det. Lieutenant Robert Kohlmier, for members at every level — including members who have never been under water.
The club is a recreational organization. It is not a department unit, it has no operational role, and it does not train or deploy divers for department missions. Members dive on their own certifications, their own time, and their own gear.
Connect with fellow members and find dive buddies.
Train through local dive shops and PADI instructors — intro dives, certification, refresher courses, and more.
Explore organized local dives and group trips, domestic and international.
Build camaraderie through a shared recreational interest outside of the job.
